My title, Marketing Manager and Demand Planner, is often met with a look of confusion when I state it. But when you’ve been at Rhino Foods for twenty years, that is plenty of time for the company to determine your strengths, what you are interested in, and how it can be leveraged to support the success of customers and the company.
As the Demand Planner my analytically strengths are leveraged. I work with our customers, data models and trending to build a rolling 18 month forecast that informs budgeting, production schedules, and long range capacity planning. My work in our formal Sales & Operation Planning process and with the Supply Chain group informs inventory models, process improvements, software integration with the aim of making us more responsive to our customers and meeting their needs.
As the Marketing Manager my creativity and communication skills are leveraged to represent Rhino Foods’ products and culture inside and outside the company. Our website design is focused on providing information that helps customers easily determine if we can provide a needed solution. We have a unique business culture and I’m proud to share this with videos on our workplace practices, the redesign of offices and employee spaces coming in 2018, and through our outreach to the community.
