I joined Rhino Foods in the summer of 2017. Having grown up in Vermont, I was familiar with Rhino Food’s famous Chesster ice cream cookie sandwich, but learned more about the business when my University of Vermont sustainable innovation MBA class visited in earlier 2017. I was impressed by the commitment to growing a company based on innovative workplace practices and a true focus on employees, their families and the community.
My career began in Boston at a research institute. I then worked at a management consulting firm, first in Boston and then in Shanghai, China. I had studied in China during college and was eager to go back to practice my Chinese, to work and to explore Asia further. After years far away, I moved back to Vermont and am very happy to work and play in this beautiful place. My role at Rhino Foods is all about the wonderful people that work here and every day is different. I love working on projects that support our employees and drive the supportive, trusting culture here. We are always thinking about how we can do the right thing for our people and how we can create positive impact at Rhino and beyond.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with family and friends and do whatever outdoor activities the weather allows like skiing, biking and hiking.
